    BSOD playing Dayz Mod VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE


    While playing Arma 2OA Dayz Mod, my screen flickered gray/black for a few seconds, then I was met with a blue screen prompting me of the error in the thread title. Since then my Nvidia GPU has not been detected by my computer. Did my graphics card just break?

    BSOD For different reasons. Windows 10

    SFC and DISM found nothing wrong if I did both correctly.

    Not sure why I still get these errors and BSODs.

    EDIT: Tried playing Tera, wondering if I didn't have Nvidia Optimized for it, because it crashed after trying to play it. But Star Wars: The Old Republic would have played longer if it was already optimized.

    EDIT2: After exiting Tera to go back to desktop, my computer BSOD'd (after saying the Nivida Kernal Driver crashed and didn't respond) saying VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE (nvlddmkm.sys). Wish I knew what the **** was going on.

    Please check {windows partition}\windows\minidump and check if there are any dump files saved.
    The zip is empty of dump files.

    thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, I factory reset my computer before posting this thread in an effort to correct the issue. Is that why there are no dump files?

    Yes, the factory reset deletes everything so you can start from scratch.
