Windows 10: BSOD playing LoL and uTorrent downloading

Hello Guys,

I'm having some BSODs when downloading using utorrent and playing League of Legends (1 time only) with same message.

Blue screen error in Windows 10

Funny thing is my PC always seems to BSOD when utorrent is on...

 

cannot run utorrent installer after updating to windows 10?

I used windows 7(Utorrent worked properly)

I was updated to windows 10

Utorrent did not open so I downloaded Utorrent from Utorrent website

When i double click Utorrent setup file it says "Windows find 'D:\Downloads\uTorrent.exe' Make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again."

Plz .. help me

The cause of the crashes is due to your ethernet driver, this driver is pretty old.
Check this site for driver updates compatible with windows 10, scroll down for product support.

I don't found on QUALCOMM driver on website you share with me, I updated my driver using ADU (advanced Driver Updater) and I had a different error,

Now I had it:

SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

Please remove the drivers you have installed with the ADU and install the previous drivers.

Driver update programs are known to cause problems with drivers, they install mostly wrong or corrupted drivers.
The best way to update drivers is manually, takes some time but you can be sure it is done properly.

I suspect the last driver installed with ADU caused your last crash.

 

Please check if this site has drivers Atheros

 

The link of Atheros driver is broken and don't have for win10 just 8.1

Before I give another link I want to see some details about this driver.
In explorer please go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\ and search for the driver. When you have found this driver right click on it and choose properties. A popup will show with a tab called details, click on it, make a screenshot of the details and post the screenshot here.

As I kind of expected, there are not yet compatible win 10 drivers for this driver.
Please try a newer version of this driver, even though there are not yet win 10 compatible drivers it would be smart to update.

 

Thanks to the help of @derekimo there could be another cause.

Please uninstall your antivirus Fortinet, it causes trouble to other drivers.
I haven't seen an uninstall tool, so just removing via the normal way could do it.

 

I updated the Fortinet client and I dont had any more BSOD.

lets keep open this case some days to wait my future report.
