Windows 10: Bsod problem when touchpad touched. Dont know how to fix.

So let me get straight to the point. When I touch my touchpad, my screen freezes and then I get the blue screen of death bsod I really don't know how to fix this problem so I'm hoping that this community can help me. Thanks!--I also own an Acer Nitro 5 with Windows 10 22H2.

so i assume next steps are to have that program open that you suggested whilst using the laptop and then when the touchpad gets disabled to check if the keys have changed?

check for my response under elan touchpad drivers. There is a step by step procedure to fix your problem. You have to roll back the mouse driver and to keep the original driver you have to disable Microsoft updates from updating to the new driver again. Read my response and I think it will solve your problem.
