Windows 10: BSOD problems when PC is at idle

Hello, I have had my current PC for over 3 years now and have always had problems with the PC blue screening at idle. These crashes come and go and never seem to follow a pattern. They generally have different names too. I recently reinstalled Windows 11 using a USB stick to see if some deep rooted corruption was causing it but have had 2 further crashes since then. One driver irql_less_or_not_equal what failed: ntoskrnl.exe and another with Clock Watchdog Timeout.After the driver irql one I ran the system file checker but clearly even though it repaired corrupted files it has not fixed it. Troubleshooting idle problems with no errors

I need help troubleshooting my Windows 10 Home PC. I have problems with it only when it idles. The problems are intermittent and hard to troubleshoot. Sometimes it will lock up after being idle for a while. Sometimes it won't lock up but the screen will
not power off. Sometimes it behaves perfectly fine. There are no errors in the Event log, BSODs or memory dumps.

I have tried:

• Reinstalling Windows from image
• Updating all of my drivers
• Scanning for viruses and other malware
• Scanning and defragging hard drives
• Turning off most of my power saving settings
• Scanning for memory and other hard defects
• Stress testing for heat related problems

I am at a loss at this point. It is very annoying to constantly have to hard boot my PC if I step away for too long.

What else can I try?

 

Pc bsod to bios

Currently replying on iPhone, I’ll give you a proper timeline Step 1) during the program of tuneup plus my pc bsod 3 times but I was finally able to get the info Step 2) Restore point was easy and done quick which now leads to step 3 Step 3) After starting the WDV my pc bsod with the stop code of “System thread exception not handled” following the steps I open command prompt and tried to turn it off which says that nothing was changed, so then after a couple of bsod’s later I manage to go back to my restore point which now leads to a problem I cant seem to fix where when I try to open my pc it says something is wrong with my pin with error code (0x80090016) If needed I do have the tuneup plus info Trying to solve the pin problem if anyone suggestions please inform me.

 

Bluetooth still on while idle

Thanks for following the steps. Now, the settings won't take effect if you are only using normal PC idle mode. Normal functionality of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi settings are to stay connected even if PC is idle. With the settings that you have created, we would
suggest that you set your PC to automatically go to Sleep or
Hibernate once idle. In this way, the settings "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" should take effect.

To set your PC to automatically go to Sleep or Hibernate when idle, please follow these steps:

• Open Control Panel, set view by: Small
  icons.
• Look for Power Options.
• Click on Change when the computer sleeps on the left pane.
• Set a timer.
