  1. BSOD - Random Crashes (ShellExperienceHost.exe)

    Greetings experts,

I have been experiencing BSOD since upgrading from Win8 to Win10.
I get blackscreen upon starting up. Ran the forums and it noticed that it was due to the integrated graphics card. I had changed the shell value from 0 to explorer.exe but still experienced it occasionally.
I noticed that the disk utilization remained at 100% upon startup for about 1/2 mins.
1 occasion logged on 14/11/2015 10:28:40 AM (Faulting application: ShellExperienceHost.exe) happened when i was watching youtube.
The system log is flooded with error from DistributedCOM.

Please find attach logs. I hope you can help.

    :)

    Constant Crashing / BSOD

Hey. I've been having issues with my computer crashing or bluescreening. The time inbetween the crashes are random, and the messages in the BSOD's are seemingly random. If you need anything to help ID the problem, please let me know.

    Thanks for your time

    BSOD - Random Crashes (ShellExperienceHost.exe)

    Hi LovelyPencils,

I am very sorry for the delay.
There aren't many people here and I lately am quite busy.

Because this is a 0x119(VIDEO_SCHEDULER_INTERNAL_ERROR) it as you say is related to the graphics.
Please uninstall everything of Nvidia using Display Driver Uninstaller and install new drivers from Nvidia. Be sure the clean install box is checked and only install the Graphics driver and the PhysX driver.

Daemon tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known cause for BSOD's.
Please remove Daemon Tools and run the SPTD pass through remover.

    • Uninstall Daemon Tools
    • Download the SPTD standalone installer and follow these steps:
      • Double click the executable to open it
      • Click on the button shown below

If the button is grayed out, like in the image, there is no more SPTD installation on your system, and you can close the window

  5. i had done as instructed.
i ran a full Enhanced Pre-boot System Assessment (ePSA) diagnostics on the desktop. Everything was green.
