Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:

    1) winver (in the pop up about windows > view your windows version and build > type this information into the thread)

    2) sfc /scannow

    3) dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

    4) chkdsk /scan

When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on copy > paste into the thread

    5) perform windows updates and post any failed KB# with error code.

    6) post an updated zip file: BSOD - Posting Instructions - Windows 10 Forums

Okay. My Windows version is Windows 10 (64-bit) 1607 14393.1358.

Here is the full command prompt output: Command prompt output - Pastebin.com

I have attached an updated ZIP file.

Please provide detail about the problems that you are having now.
    Is it only mouse?
    Is it only keyboard?
Is it whatever is attached to any USB port?
Any other problems that you are experiencing?
    What happened before reinstalling windows?
    What happened after reinstalling windows?
What is has changed after the re-installation and what has remained the same?

    How did you reinstall 1607?
    When you reinstalled the OS:
    did you delete the partitions?
    did you format the drive?
    did you use diskpart clean?
did you use a 1607 iso?

Do you want to stay with the older version of windows or update to the newer version 1703?

Are you doing any over clocking?

The bios: BIOS Version/Date American Megatrends Inc. 3703, 5/3/2013
Have you checked to see if there is an updated version of the bios?

When was the last time you reset the bios?

Since your Nvidia drivers fix, there have been no mouse or keyboard problems. And no other USB problems as far as I can tell.

The only problem now seems to be the cursor disappearing (but only inside a certain window, and not freezing, just disappearing). Could this be related to the "Hide pointer while typing" option in Mouse Properties>Pointer Options?

I reinstalled 1607 by completely formatting the entire hard drive and installing from an ISO of Windows 10 1607. (I think I got the ISO using this method.)

Yes, I would like to update to 1703, unless you think it is buggy or something like that.

    I don't think I am overclocking, but I'm not 100% sure.

No, I haven't checked about the BIOS, but is there a reason to now? Again, I am having practically no issues now except for the invisible cursor thing.

    Thanks

View windows updates and update to version 1703 to see if this fixes the disappearing mouse problem.
In case you do not see the option to upgrade from 1607 to 1703 you can perform an in place upgrade using a bootable windows 10 iso. The current windows 10 iso is version 1703: Download Windows 10
Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade Windows 10 Installation Upgrade Tutorials
The windows 10 iso in place repair is relatively easy and is performed by powering on, opening file explorer, inserting the bootable windows ten iso into any usb port, identifying the usb folder within windows explorer, opening setup or setup.exe and following the link in the left lower corner for repair. The repair uses the windows 10 iso version 1703 and performs the upgrade.

  7. If those things doesnt work i say an clean Install would be more helpful. I think this would Safe a lot of time.

This Forum is for analysing bluescreens.

Zbook please concentrate on the analysis on bluescreens. If the user wants help with other Things he should Open a new Thread in another forum in tenforums. Hes Problem has now nothing to do with the bluescreen.

Zbook, I see U have enough time to do more than analysing bluescreens, so have a look at the other Problem forums at tenforums.

zbook, okay, thanks for the great help. I upgraded to 1703, but that did not solve the invisible cursor issue. I just reinstalled the mouse driver and I will see if that fixed the issue. If not, I'll start a new thread.
