Windows 10: BSOD Scripts Question: Can it run on Windows PE?

Note Hi, I should post this on the BSOD forum but I'm worried if the thread gets deleted, and/or my account gets terminated. If this thread does relate to BSOD and should be moved in the BSOD forums, you can move it. Hi, how do I describe this: For example: your PC doesn't boot to Windows (INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE) or Windows corrupted and the member that gives help is want to you to run the BSOD scripts, and you don't have an working Windows. So, you have an bootable Windows USB (Windows 10 Installation media is included, that is a customized WinPE and using DISM to deploy W10; also Recovery drive doesn't apply), and you have Linux USB to download the files. My question is: Is the BSOD scripts can run in Windows Preinstallation Enviroment (WinPE)?

Hi,

The long-running script error usually occurs when there are issues with Internet Explorer.

To resolve your concern, we suggest turning off the scripting debugger in Internet Explorer 11. Please follow these steps:

• Open Internet Explorer.
• Click the Settings icon at the top-right corner, then select Internet Options.
• On the Advanced tab, uncheck Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer) and
  Disable script debugging (Other).
• Click Apply, then OK.

Once done, check if the issue will still persist.
