    BSOD since new build

This issue goes back to a new build and my previous OS of Windows 7. I thought I had it narrowed down to the video card driver but now I am less sure. I have been using Windows 10 Pro 64 just about since it was released and the problem persists. My drivers are updated, I don't have a whole lot of programs installed on this computer but it's my home theater computer and I really need it to stay running all the time. The last couple of crashes after my most recent driver update were driver power state failures then as I was going to try driver verifier again it crashed when I was restarting with an irq not less or equal. dmp files are attached.

    :)

BSOD "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (kbdclass.sys)" error with new Desktop Keyboard and Mouse

The compatibility fix from webroot fixed the problem before.

But since upgrading to Version 1607 // Build 14393.187 there's a new wrinkle.

Even when I turn off webroot typing on the wireless keyboard gives me a BSOD.

  3. BSOD in windows 10 64-bit 0x0000007E

Sure here is the event log, there does appear to be a lot of things going on in it since December, so this BSOD maybe something that has been building.

Especially worried on that since I just had a short time ago that BSOD that said the NTFS.sys driver was the cause.

Please uninstall everything of AMD using Display Driver Uninstaller and install new drivers from AMD. Be sure to ONLY install the drivers using custom/advanced options.

    Please try the following:
    • Open taskmanager
      • Go to the tab startup
      • disable everything
    • Search msconfig and open it
      • Go to the tab services
      • Check 'hide microsoft services'
      • Uncheck all other services
      • Click apply and click ok
    • Reboot if asked
See if the problem persist, if the problem does not persist enable in the startup tab in taskmanager 1 item and in the services tab in msconfig also 1 service, reboot and see if the problem persist. Keep doing this until you find the culprit or there is nothing left.
If the problem still persist, try booting in safe mode and see if the problem still persist

I'm still working on this, it has crashed twice since making the changes. It only crashes about every 2 days so it takes some time to figure out.

    There is no rush *Smile

It is better to take the time you need for proper troubleshooting then rushing through it.
