    BSOD Stop Code: REFERENCE BY POINTER every 30 minutes in Window's 10


    Hello - need some assistance troubleshooting an issue. About every 30 minutes my PC Windows 10 crashes to the blue stop code screen with the message REFERENCE BY POINTER. There have been no software updates, or new hardware added over the past week. I've checked discs and system for any corruption, following some things I found online for how to fix this issue, but nothing has stopped it from happening. I've been using this PC for months without issues so I'm not even sure where to start troubleshooting at this point. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

    Hi,

    I have encountered this error twice now.

    Stop Code: Reference by Pointer.

    What does it mean and whats its causes? It definitely happened after i updated my Win 10. Looked all over online but not really found a solution to this problem.

    PC specs just in case:

    Win 10 Pro, 64 bit

    i5-6200U 2.4

    8 GB RAM

    Nvidia Geforce 940M
