    I just got a Surface Laptop Studio a few days ago, 32GB RAM + 2TB storage with RTX A2000. Got all the Windows updates installed. Had to deal with an issue I had before an update causing it to be stuck in tablet mode, rolled a lot of the drivers back which fixed it, then went back to updating again. Used GeForce Experience for gpu drivers. Tried to play a game, got a BSoD. Stop code: VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE. What failed: nvlddmkm.sys. Afterwards, I had to spend all day trying to work this out. Things done more or less in the following order: sfc /scannowchkdsk /FDISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /R

    BSOD - video_tdr_failure igdkmd64.sys

    Hi

    I am using an HP Spectre (x64, Core i7) with Windows 10. I have been trying to work with Davinci Resolve but each time I load a file into this program to work on it I get the BSOD and the Video_TDR_failure (igdkmd64.sys) warning/code. I have looked on line
    and this seems to be a very common issue. I have downloaded the drivers for my video card and tried a few other things with no success. I also cannot use my headset.

    Windows 10 has made for some serious problems. Any advice?

    I got the solution.

    This vdo_tdr_failure stop code is showing because your system getting internal driver issue or your BIOS got crashed or get outdated . The issue solution is to follow some steps which is mention on the link given below and if still the problem occur then
    go to your system official software support and download the latest firmware of your BIOS (according to the serial no) And update your BIOS. I am sure then after your blue dump gets completely solved.
