Wow—you're doing so much to help me! Even if we can't figure this out, thanks a ton for all the work you've done.

So, I unfortunately don't seem to have access to a wired keyboard/mouse right now, but I told it to update and disconnected the keyboard. The BIOS would warn me that I don't have a keyboard plugged in, but would then continue with Windows Boot Manager as normal. Looks like that's not my problem, either.

I've plugged my HDD back in, as well as the monitor connected to my motherboard, so I can continue working on my computer while we work through this; should I make sure they're unplugged every time I try to update?

  2. Hey again!

So, I can't find an errorcode. Maybe that just means that I don't know where to look, though.

So, I tried it with a wired keyboard, and kept the motherboard monitor and the HDD unplugged. Still a no-go.

I saw axe0 recommend to some other bloke to remove all startup programs and run disk verifier (BSOD When Updating to Windows 10 Anniversary). I've been doing that, and haven't yet come up with anything. After a guesstimated 18 hours, Disk Verifier hasn't generated a BSOD yet.

If you ever want to call it quits, feel free to let me know. I won't be offended.

  3. Woah. It updated! It works!

I guess Windows fixed itself. Wonderful!

Thanks again for your continued help, lifetec!
