Windows 10: BSOD - Verifier failed and MemTest86 with alot of errors

Dear all,

I have recently installed the most recent Win10 on my pc. It was all working fine with everything else with an older version, 1909. Not too sure if that has anything to do with it.

I am not too sure what is causing the problems. Even after another fresh install, I was still getting the issue.

And this is the MemTest86 report, it passed with 0 rerrors for the first Pass. Then had 240k errors half way through 2nd pass.

Most of the times the BSOD would occur when playing World Of Warcraft, after 30-40 minutes. If anyone can read the BSOD Minidumps and tell me something else I can test? A couple times my computer froze without being able to dump the memory in the minidumps folder.

Not too sure what to do now, if I should take the memory sticks out and test 1 by 1 and in each slot of the motherboard, to see if only 1 stick is the problem or if the motherboard slot is the problem.

Getting BSOD 0x124 error

Ignore what everone said here.

0x124 BSOD is usually related to VCCIO (VTT), run Prime95 version 26.6 with custom sizes of 512K to 640K with 50% of your memory for at least 8 hours.

If you get a 0x124 BSOD, increase VCCIO voltage by small steps, run Prime95 again until your stable.

If you pass Prime95 512K to 640K without a BSOD, then its Vcore too low. I'd suggest running IntelBurnTest with 80% of your memory to verify stability (8 to 12 hours).

Oh, and yeah, if this problem appeared all of the sudden, the reason is CPU degradation, you can prevent it by enabling C-States or adjust your overclock to use lower voltages.

 

BSOD when updating W10 Insider Preview (installation)

The BSOD minidump did not display a definitive misbehaving driver.
All of the BSOD have been C2 Bad pool caller.
The suggested steps for finding cause and effect are RAM testing with Memtest86+ version 5.01 and Windows driver verifier.
If the Memtest86+ version 5.01 displays malfunctioning RAM / DIMM /MB then the troubleshooting will be completed once the hardware component is identified. If the Memtest86+ version 5.01 is negative then the next step would be windows driver verifier.
If you prefer a clean install that is another option if hardware is ruled out.

The memory dump will take a while to download. So it will be troubleshooted later today.

 

Memtest86+ errors over night

Hi guys. I received some errors in memtest86+ after running it for about 9hours. Is there a problem with my memory? Do I need to RMA it? My memory is: OCZ EL DDR PC-3200 Gold GX XTC 2GB Dual Channel.
