BSOD - Video Card not showing in device manager all the sudden.

Steps i have taken and there outcomes: (This is literally everything i have tried)

1: ) Performed the sfc/scannow in Command Prompt - Results in post #8

    2: ) Performed the dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth in command prompt - Results in post #8

3: ) Performed the chkdsk /scan in Comand Prompts - Results in post #8

4: ) Attempted the following to uninstall "bwcW8x64.sys" Killer Bandwidth Filter Drivera: ) Searched through every entry in Device Manager's entries for a driver with the details of "bwcW8x64.sys" and or "Killer Bandwidth Control Filter Driver" -Found nothing with that entry.
b: ) Did a windows search for the term "bwcW8x64.sys"- Results in post #17

c: ) Uninstall the entire "Killer Suite" (it was a program suite that came bundled, no way for me to remove only one component as you asked in post #7 "6) Uninstall bwcW8x64.sys Killer Bandwidth Control Filter Driver") - Result was it uninstalled just fine.

d: ) Did another search for "bwcW8x64.sys" in windows after the uninstall of "Killer Suite" - Results in Post #19 In the screen shot you can see that "bwcW8x64.sys" still is present however the others that were there in Post #17 are now absent.

c: ) Repeated the same type of search listed as step "a" of number 4 in this list (after Killer Suite was uninstalled), looking for "bwcW8x64.sys" only this time with the option "Show Hidden Devices" turned on - Pictures of Device Manager in post #22. Results were that still nothing found with the entry "bwcW8x64.sys"

d: ) Posted pictures of my Programs in "add and remove apps" setting screen - Post #235: ) Uninstalled Everything NVIDIA Via the Device Manager as well as the "Add and remove apps" settings window within Windows settings menu. - Result was that it uninstalled fine with no errors.

6: ) Uninstalled all Video Drivers of every kind from my pc using DDU in safe mode - Result was the program telling me that they were all successfully removed including NVIDIA GeForce Experience

7: ) Fixed one of the two yellow triangles with the black exclamation in device manager. The device i was able to fix was the "Unknown Device" entry via just deleting its driver entirely. Scanned for hardware changes within Device Manager and the device was gone. - Result was that now i only have 1 yellow triangle/black exclamation in device manager.

8: ) Attempted to fix the remaining yellow triangle/black exclamation contained upon the entry "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter" - Actions taken and their results are listed belowa: ) Attempted to uninstall the device - It uninstalls but then when i click "check for hardware changes" it reappears still containing the yellow triangle/black exclamation point. - Result was it was unsuccessful and did not resolve the problem

b: ) Followed your steps listed in post #24 to which I replied in post #28 - Results in post #28, in short I am sent to a screen with one result, leading to a forum that states MSI does not have drivers for windows 10 on this machine.9: ) Reinstalled Intel Video Drivers VIA the Device manager panel.- Result was it installed fine and shows no errors.

10: ) Uninstalled all device drivers for devices listed as "not currently connected" within device manager - Results were that device manager now has much less items and has no repeat entries. Other than the essentials like "motherboard resources"

11: ) Used IE to install Java and ran the NVIDIA automatic drivers finder tool as per your instructions in post #38 - Results in post #40, in short it shows that the recommended driver is "Geforce GTX 770M". However when attempting to install i get the message shown in post #41 stating that "this graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware."

    Some questions for you:

1: ) In your post #34, you state "In post # 23 there was only a bluetooth killer suite displayed. Were you able to install the Killer driver suite? If so what was the outcome? Were you able to uninstall it after the install?" Question 1: Where did you see "Bluetooth Killer Suite" because i have checked it over and over and do not see that there.

2: ) And you are asking me if i was able to install "Killer driver Suite", When i just had uninstalled "Killer Driver Suite" in response to your post #7.
Question 2: Was I supposed to, uninstall the original "Killer Suite" then reinstall "Killer Suite" again via your link provided in post #32 and lastly uninstall the "Killer Suite" again?

3: ) In post #18 I said: "Ok well all of that just says "killer performance" things so i just went and uninstalled that whole suite. Anyway i can check to see if the problem driver is gone?"Question 3: Did we some how find out if this problem driver is still present after I uninstalled "Killer suite"
4: ) In my post #28 I express the fact that my attempts in correcting the yellow triangle/black exclamation error contained upon "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter" within device manager following your guide in post #24, in which i googled the term "PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_11E0&SUBSYS_05AA1462&REV_A1 Windows 10 Driver".Question 4: What do I do now?
This post should clear up any questions you have asked me. Now I am confused on what to do at this point. Please advise my next course of action taking into account this post of actions taken.

The next post after will contain updated images of my Device Manager Entries.
The next post following that will contain updated images of my "add and remove programs" screens from within Windows settings.

The last post will contain images of my BIOS as you asked for in post #43

This link displays some of the downloads available from Killer Networking:
Killer Wireless | Killer Networking | Killer Ethernet Driver
In post #23, image 4/5, 6th item displays: Qualcom Atheros Bluetooth Suite.
The killer control center software was not seen in the control panel.
Sometimes when there is incomplete software removal or difficulty removing software, installing the software again helps in the complete removal of software.
The inability to install drivers is not good. If it were a desktop it would be easier as you could swap video cards. That is not an option on the notebook. Inability to install drivers may indicate failure of the hardware. The night before last I chatted with Nvidia, they called me and I asked them for any suggestions to install the nvidia drivers or any method to check the hardware. Those suggestions were already included in the thread. Nvidia has free chat and can also call you. They have the ability to assess your computer remotely and try to install the drivers.
So for the Nvidia please start a chat, use the telephone as needed, and allow them to attempt to install the Nvidia driver by remote access.

OK First let me go through your post:

I will go install and then uninstall "Killer Wireless Suite"

You had stated that you seen it, that's why I asked. Sorry not trying to be a hassle :/

I know *Sad thats why i started the thread in the first place, coupled with the fact that device manager can not see my nvida card.

Actually in my original post i stated that i did in fact order a replacement off the internet, I subsequently installed it into the laptop thinking that my original hardware went bad.

    Will do.

BSOD - Video Card not showing in device manager all the sudden.

The misbehaving driver does not appear to be a component of the killer wireless.
The misbehaving driver appears to be a component of the killer control center.
So please try to download the control center and not the wireless:

These were some of the entries in the event log displaying problems with the Nvidia driver:

Code: Event[4603]: Log Name: System Source: Display Date: 2017-09-16T19:31:12.827 Event ID: 4101 Task: N/A Level: Warning Opcode: Info Keyword: Classic User: N/A User Name: N/A Computer: DESKTOP-SEV1DIU Description: Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered.[/quote] Code: Event[4605]: Log Name: System Source: Display Date: 2017-09-16T19:32:28.820 Event ID: 4101 Task: N/A Level: Warning Opcode: Info Keyword: Classic User: N/A User Name: N/A Computer: DESKTOP-SEV1DIU Description: Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered.[/quote] Code: Event[4606]: Log Name: System Source: Display Date: 2017-09-16T19:32:45.081 Event ID: 4101 Task: N/A Level: Warning Opcode: Info Keyword: Classic User: N/A User Name: N/A Computer: DESKTOP-SEV1DIU Description: Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered.[/quote]

    There was 1 BSOD yesterday.
    There was 1 BSOD today.
Neither one displayed a definitive misbehaving driver.
After you complete the troubleshooting with Nvidia please report the steps that you made and the progress/outcome into the thread.

The next step for the 2 recent BSOD is windows driver verifier.
    Please read these links.

Not many are comfortable replacing the graphics card on their notebook. That's great that you were able to do that. Which day did you replace the graphics card and what were the problems with the prior card? Was it a defective card or was it an upgrade? Were you over clocking?

    Action Taken:
I installed the "killer suite control panel" that you asked me to do. Then uninstalled "Killer Suite control panel" also as instructed.
    Restarted
Did the search for the "bwcW8x64.sys" and it still is located on my pc as the image in post #19
Reinstalled "killer suite control panel" and booted into safe mode. Attempted to uninstall it and i get an error window from windows stating "The Windows installer service could not be accessed. This can occur if the windows installer is not correctly installed"
Booted back into 'normal mode' (?) and uninstalled it just fine again.

it seems my uninstaller doesn't work when windows is in safe mode.

    From my original post:

No i was not overclocking, thats dangerous for laptops. *cry as far as i am aware anyways. I would certainly not OC my laptop, it doesnt have the fans necessary for that kind of stuff.

In response to your post #52
I will follow those actions as soon as soon as i contact NVIDIA. However i do not plan on doing this tonight as it is late here and i have to go to bed soon. *Sad Work in the morning and what not.

Thank you for being so patient and continuing to help me. I am glad we are all caught up and on the same page now. If you have any more questions please do ask and let me get them cleared up for you *Smile

9/16/2017 was a Saturday and that was the first event viewer entry displaying a problem with the Nvidia graphics. It recovered on that day and appears to have failed the following day.

Is the current video card a new one and under warranty? Maybe RMA could be discussed with Nvidia? Or they could direct you in how to reseat the hardware to see if that may alter its function.

Before using windows driver verifier plan
    1) to back up all files
    2) make a backup image using Macrium
Macrium Software | Your Image is Everything
    3) place the backup image onto another drive or in the cloud
    4) create a brand new restore point
    5) download and install bluescreenview and whocrashed:
Blue screen of death (STOP error) information in dump files.
Resplendence Software - WhoCrashed, automatic crash dump analyzer

The new card has a 30 day return for "dead on arrival" purposes. So no it is not under any kind of warranty as far as i am aware.

When you say "reseat" you mean to ensure the device is well attached? As in seated into its port correct?
I had thought this as well so i checked the old one to ensure I did not "jar" it out of place somehow. I took it apart and put the video card back in. (old one) Then when that did not solve the issue I ordered a new one thinking my old one was dead.

Put the new one in, did not work. I posted here. Then a day or so later I thought, "why not double check the new one as well". I then took the laptop apart and reseated the video card (new one) restarted computer and the same problem still persisted.

BSOD - Video Card not showing in device manager all the sudden.

See if a local store can test both video cards or has another card that they may allow you to swap to evaluate the notebook.
    Any information from Nvidia?

I get off work in 3 hours and plan to call NVIDIA then.
I will see if i can find a shop nice enough to help me out without charging me a ton, If all the steps i have yet to catch up with end fruitlessly.

    NVIDIA was really unhelpful.

The short version of our phone call was:

Told him the problem, and he says that
"the psi port may be bad"
i told him that speccy and nvdia website sees it but the drivers wont install.

He said that i should update my bios and chipset for this laptop and if the device is still not detected than it can be a deffective pci port.
I then told him that even though i used DDU and also uninstalled the drivers through device manager and through add and remove programs (geforce experience) "nviddmkm.sys" is still causing bsod. His reply:
"when you get the BIOS and chipset updated and the device is recognized by windows you can install the drivers and it should fix that"

    So basically useless...
