Windows 10: Bsod video tdlr failure Nvidia

Hi I have a gtx 1050, my pc is old. It is a laptop I'm constantly getting this error. I've done so many things and nothing works. Reinstall drivers, full scans, I even factory reseted my pc and this error was still going. Sometimes when I try to open games it gives me the blue screen. Sometimes closing games. And sometimes it just happens out of nowhere. I've seen so many tutorials I don't know what else to do Could the graphics card be physically danged?

I did all the steps you suggest at least 3 times after each failure. After each deletion and re-installation of NVIDIA GTS 240 video driver my system worked okay for a few minutes to an hour or so before showing video clutter and finally black screen.
I even tried running with the OEM video that came with the computer (without the NVIDIA card. Each time I was forced to shut down and reboot. Currently (10:52 am, 5/19/18) I have been able to work for over an hour without incident. Obviously, I am not confident
the problem is solved.

 

Video TDR failure in Windows 10 (NVIDIA nvlddmkm.sys)

Does anyone know when/whether Microsoft/NVIDIA will fix the problem resulting in random failures of NVIDIA nvlddmkm.sys in the latest Windows 10 update? I have tried various fixes suggested on Internet. None of these appear to work for very long. I
have removed and re-installed the above NVIDIA driver three times. It works for a period of time (less than a day) before failure occurs.

 

Video TDR BSOD

Hi all

Hoping someone can help. Running windows10 and getting BSOD video tdr failure igdkmd64.sys when i start my computer up and it is connected to a second monitor. We have tried the following to no avail, open to all suggestions!

- Added TdrDelay, no change

- updated windows and drivers, no change

- removed both drivers (intel and nvidia), when we removed the intel driver the computer actually started up okay with no BSOD, so we are assuming it has something to do with the intel driver?
