    DPC Watchdog Violation Windows 10 - Random Crashes

    So after doing the Verifier method you listed above again. I booted my computer four different times. All of which resulted in a crash before Windows ever even booted. I waited significant periods of times before rebooting, in hopes that it would write a
    dump file, but I cannot locate any dump files from these specific crashes in my /Windows/Minidump location.

    Please help me resolve this as I am still experiencing random DPC Watchdog crashes.

    Hello! I've used this forum before to report a prior instance of this exact problem happening, and while the suggestions listed on that end were helpful, the fix was apparently only temporary.     That aside, I've been experiencing crashes since around the start of January; while employing the methods suggested by Jan J.23 were helpful in temporarily alleviating the issue (principally uninstalling/reinstalling graphics and audio drivers) for about two to four days, the issue subsequently resumes and continues to crop up around 2-5 times a day, disrupting my daily routine and productivity.

    General crash routine: Watching either a video or something with audio, two-three seconds of sudden audio crackling and slow-down, before the entire screen freezes for up to three minutes. At this point, the system displays BSOD of DPC_Watchdog_Violation and restarts the computer.

    Upon restart, all audio output devices are not registered. All attempts to disconnect/reconnect do not display them. Only a shut down and booting back up from there will resolve this issue, though a crash is highly likely to occur again following this, for the next three-five boot cycles, if not more.

    Running the microsoft audio troubleshooter has no effect on this issue, and my lenovo vantage program does not recognize any issue with the audio output during scans, even when the devices are disabled through the restart process.

    Is there any permanent solution to resolving this? Should I continue using the measures recommended by Jan? Are there any other methods that could be used to fix this issue? Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated!
