  1. BSOD when booting up and I can't restore the pc

Hello, so the other day, I decided to perform some driver updates into my windows 10 laptop, and during that I've had a blue screen of death.. Now, whenever I try to turn on the machine, I keep getting the same blue screen with the error code:CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIEDI tried entering safe mode, restoring the system etc but nothing worked as it says system protection is turned off.I have alot of valuable data on this pc and helping me figure how to enable system protection to get to my restore points would be so much appreciated.PS: I already have 3 restore points.

    :)

  2. ughhh! BSOD on boot

I guess my computer BSOD on boot right before getting to windows. not sure what the problem is though, everything is stable.

It gave me a list of two files in windows that could have caused the problems

Restoring Windows 10 Image using Macrium Reflect

In addition to the above. Here's my suggestion in step by step.
I assume you have Macrium Installed in your current HD and already made a backup copy.
    1. Connect your new HD via USB port and boot up.
    2. Run Macrium, click on Restore tab then select the Backup Image that you made to restore
    3. click on "select a different target disk" then select your new HD as destination

    4. Proceed to restore then Shutdown and disconnect the old HD and replace with the new HD
    5. Boot up with your new HD.

BSOD when booting up and I can't restore the pc

PC Won't Boot After Install and Restart

I was able to clear CMOS by taking out the battery and then putting it in after 5 min. That helped and i was able to boot, i got some kind of a checksum error and was given a choice to restore to last known good configuration or to default, i chose option number 1 and was able to boot into Windows, however after i restarted the PC i was back to square 1 where system wouldn't boot as before.

What do i do now? Clear CMOS again and attempt to boot into Windows do a system restore and uninstall that program that may have been the cause of this problem? Any suggestions?
