    BSOD when coming out of sleep mode Windows 11 Pro 64bit


    Please someone help, cant figure out what the problem is. Started happening about a month after i just built this PC back on 1/2/2024. It happens at least once a week and every driver is always up to date. Basically once i wake the PC up and everything starts working fine as usual. After about 3-5minutes or randomly just watching a video or doing anything really ill get this BSOD Specs: ROG STRIX Z790-E GAMING WIFI IIGigabyte NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Windforce Overclocked Triple Fan 12GB GDDR6X PCIe 4.0 Graphics CardCorsair Vengeance RGB 32GB 2 x 16GB DDR5-5600 PC5-44800 CL36 Dual Channel

    Sleep Mode in Windows 11

    Why can't I use the "ENTER" key to wake up the computer when it's in "Sleep" mode?

    Issues coming out of sleep mode

    My laptop (Thinkpad T14 AMD Gen 1) has had issues in sleep mode ever since the Windows 11 Update. Issues include:



    • Not coming out of sleep mode and I have to hold the power button to reboot
    • Locking up on the face recognition screen for 60+ seconds, then getting the blue screen of death before finally rebooting OK
    • Coming out of sleep mode having all my programs shut down
    • Not recognizing my USB mouse / keyboard coming out of sleep mode.

    Any ideas? Rebooting every time and loading up all my work twice a day is very frustrating.

    Thanks for the assistance, I've run all the necessary steps. It looks like there might be an issue found when running that first command. I have also installed all the driver updates recommended by the dell support check.

    You can find the logs of the command prompt window in the cmd.log file
