BSOD when downloading games from steam and watching dvds on VLC

    Hello everyone,

I have been getting BSOD multiple times since I built this pc, which is only about a couple weeks old. Everything was fine for the first week or so, then It started when I was attempting to download a game from steam (elder scrolls online). During BSOD it says "system_service_exception" and I have also had "system_thread_exception_not_handled".

Also, i'm not sure if this would help but I checked the event viewer and it looks like there are quite a few problems listed. Critical: Kernel-Power event ID 41, Critical: TaskScheduler event ID 404, Error: DistributedCOM event ID 10016, Error: EventLog event ID 6008, Error: Application Popup event ID 56, Error: BugCheck event ID 1001, Error: Service Control Manager event ID 7030.

I have tried to research online and learn what I can to fix it myself but I am out of my league as I am new to pc's. Obviously I have not had any luck fixing the problem and I would appreciate any help getting it to run correctly. Thank you.

    :)

  2. Suggestion to download DVD player in Windows 10.

From where would you like to download a home video?

Are you attempting to watch a DVD but unable to do so?

You need to have a DVD player software installed.

You can use VLC PLayer which is a free download.

Your DM Log collector Tool does not have dumpfile(s) inside.

Please check if your system is configured for collecting dumpfiles. (6. To have Windows Create a Small memory dump (Minidump) File on BSOD
If you are using CCcleaner or similar Apps please uncheck deleting dumpfiles option.

Thank you for reply so quickly lifetec. I followed the link you provided and completed option one for small memory dump, and I also unchecked dump files in CCleaner. Now do I need to wait for another BSOD and attach another .zip file?

I was still trying to download game from steam and when I returned from class my pc was at the login screen, so I am assuming it was another BSOD. I attached the new .zip

Sadly the dumpfile does not point to something specific.

    Start with updating your BIOS.

See the supportpage for your mobo here Access Denied

Also see if you have the latest chipset drivers installed.

But reading your description above, i have a feeling it might be related to your network(devices).
When did you install your Tehuti networkcard.
The driver is from TN40xxmp_64 Wed Sep 16 17:56:33 2015. And when looking on the website of Tehuti i can not find a specific windows 10 driver. In the faq the only say that these windows O.S. are supported
Also your other network devices drivers are older, although you have them disconnected the drivers are still on your system.
