Windows 10: BSOD when I open unreal engine

    BSOD when I open unreal engine


    I get bsod everytime i open unreal engine. Just formatted and installed windows. Updated motherboard bios, installed chipset driver. Did a memtest86 on my ram. Everything seems to be fine. Its driving me crazy. I cannot figure out what is wrong. Please help me.

    BSOD when opening Unreal Engine projects

    I had an original issue during C++ compilation, which was solved here by uninstalling Gigabyte Control Center.

    There is also check list what I everything tests already.

    Redirecting

    But BSOD still happening to me, usually during Unreal Engine project opening.

    Sometimes there is Unreal Engine as a process, but usually, it is just System.

    I     can normally use windows for weeks, without any issue, play game and everything OK, but when I start working with Unreal Engine, it always crash.

    It freeze for some time, mouse pointer stop moving and then BSOD will come.

    But I don't see any driver in WinDbg app there.

    I didn't found any post about this issue on Unreal Engine forum, it probably happening just to me :-(

    What else can be source of BSOD here?

    When i go to open the “Epic Games Launcher” to open unreal engine 4 it just says its loading and then doesn’t open

    Can I uninstall Unreal Engine

    Hello, I'm A&K. I'm glad to be able to help you.

    If you don't have Unreal Engine installed, this may be carried by some games made with Unreal Engine. Uninstalling it will not affect your system, but some games may not run.
