Windows 10: BSOD When Laptop is Plugged In

Hello all,I've been having a fairly persistent problem for awhile now, and I am finally at the end of my rope in trying to fix it myself. I have been getting daily BSODs on my laptop. These crashes can occur at any time, regardless of what I am doing, or even if I'm not doing anything at all. My computer will also sometimes crash to a black screen, with the cursor still visible must immobile. The codes for the BSOD are random, and include IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL, CRITICAL PROCESS DIED, SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION, KMODE EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED, and others.I've checked that all my drivers are up to d

Laptop BSOD when plugged in

I get a bsod with a different error message everytime i plug in the charger and use my laptop, on battery i never a bsod.

 

Laptop Screen goes dark when I Plug in or plug out.

This issue could have occurred due to these reasons:

• Outdated or corrupt driver.
• Missing Windows Updates.

Method 1:

I suggest you to install all the available Windows Updates and check if it helps.

Method 2:

If the issue persists, I suggest you to download and install all the latest device drivers including graphics and chipset driver from the computer manufacturer website.

BSOD when Laptop Plugged In

I started getting BSOD with the error related to the driver iastorvd.sys attempting to write onto a read only area of RAM

Attempted to replace the drive manually, attempted all the fixes using Intel Rapid Storage software updates, rolling back computer

Updated to Windows 11 and finally Reset the entire computer but still having the problem

Same problem ... this is an HP Laptop, I spent many hours going through all threads

Now I have done further self-investigation and noticed that it is ONLY crashing while using the laptop while plugged in

I used it all day with no crashing, and when plugged in it crashes within 15 minutes, every 15 minutes while turned on with power plugged in

Please advise the next step to determining the solution.

I am hoping to avoid all the standard replies about replacing the driver and going to intel website, etc as I have done all this and this is basically a fresh install at this point
