Windows 10: BSOD when launching 3D Applications

Hi I am currently having very regular and abnormal crashes on my computer I cannot figure out the source though I think it is a hardware issue as I did a fresh windows install and the issue is still persisting. The Stop code I am getting is CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED. Sometimes the blue screen doesn't even pop up my machine will just reboot not sure what to look for. Any help would be appreciated in identifying and resolving the issue. my system specs are as followedProcessor AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-Core Processor 3.80 GHzInstalled RAM 32.0 GBGPU Nvidia 3070System type 64-bit operating system, x64-bas

Can't launch Paint 3D Error (-2147219196)

2. Since when are you facing this issue?
   
3. Are you aware of any changes made on your PC prior to this issue?
   

I understand that you are unable to launch paint 3D on your PC, let us try few troubleshooting steps to fix this issue.

I suggest you follow the methods mentioned below and check if that helps:

Method 1: Fix problems with apps from Microsoft store. Refer the follow article for troubleshooting steps to fix issues with

paint 3D.

Method 2: Uninstall and reinstall paint 3D using Windows PowerShell (Admin).

1. Right click on start and click on Windows PowerShell (Admin).
   
2. Type Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.MSPaint | Remove-AppxPackage and then hit
   Enter.
   
3. Reinstall Paint 3D from Microsoft store.

3D Paint Textbox Moving By Itself Issue

Hi Sami,



Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.



I understand how frustrating it could be when Windows features do not work as they are supposed to, however, upon checking this on multiple computers, I was able to position the textbox as per my requirements. It seems that there
is some issue with the application settings on your end.



I would suggest to reset the application or reinstall it, to achieve this, please follow the steps given below.



Go to Settings->Apps->Apps & features->Paint 3D->Advanced options->Reset.



If resetting the application does not work, it would suggest to uninstall it and reinstall it from Store. Please follow the steps mentioned below.

• Right click on Start button (Windows logo) and choose
  Windows PowerShell (Admin).
  
• Type Get-AppxPackage *Paint3D* | Remove-AppxPackage and hit the
  Enter key.
  
• Upon the successful completion of the above command, Paint 3D will be removed from the computer.
  
• Launch Windows Store and reinstall the application.

Models on 3D builder application are not displaying normally.

Thank you for replying with required information.

1. Are you facing this issue with all the models in 3D Builder?
2. Have you downloaded the models or have you created you own models using 3D builder application?
   
3. In which file format are the models saved?
4. Were you able to view the models in the 3D builder normally, prior to this issue?

Reply with the information to the above question for further clarity on the issue.

Meanwhile, I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue is specific to the user account. Refer the article on

for steps to create a new user account.
