    BSOD when plugging in an HDMI cable


    I have the above mentioned Issue with my just repaired Asus Vivobook S15 S5507QA. As soon as I plug in an HDMI cable going from my Laptop straight to an Harman Kardon AVR 161S receiver and then to my Asus ProArt 1080p Monitor I have a short ~1-3 Seconds freeze and afterwards a bootloop as long as keep the cable plugged in. After unplugging the HDMI cable everything works perfectly fine.I have tried everything different cables, different laptop to verify the display/receiver are working, etc. But with my Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming Win11 everything is working perfectly fine.     Why exactly is ATi considered be better at HDMI?

    I plug my HDMI cable into the card, then into my TV. Those are the steps that I have to do. All the steps you list make absolutely no sense to me.

    Sound works fine only issue with me is underscan when connecting to my tv.

    Using internal speakers when an HDMI cable is plugged in.

    Many thanks. Lenovo wanted to charge me $99 for this info re a new computer. It worked fine. I needed to plug in the cable to shave that option show up.
