    BSOD when updating iTunes/Nvidia

    Each software is different.
    Memtest is different from Memtest86+
Please use Memtest86+ to test the RAM /DIMM /Motherboard.
Run testing for 8 or more passes.
    The more passes the better.
Sometimes testing displays pass when the RAM is malfunctioning. This is called a false negative.
The testing is important to reduce the incidence of false negatives.
Please run at least 8 passes.
When you run memtest86+ please use version 5.01 using this link: Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool

Run the hibernation command in the above link and report in the thread the change in performance.
Then place the computer in clean boot and report into the thread the change in performance.
Each of these steps requires a reboot to see the impact and monitor the performance.

For all test results please post images into the thread using 1 or more of the following:
    Microsoft snipping tool
Keyboard print screen key the Microsoft paint
    Camera or smart phone camera

Ran the hibernation control. Simplified restart, disable start up options, and hit the restart command you recommended. System stuck on restart 10 minutes now

Power off then power on and as soon as you see the Microsoft icon power off. The timing is critical.
Repeat: power on and as soon as you see the Microsoft icon power off.
Repeat: power on and as soon as you see the Microsoft icon power off.

Either the 2nd or the 3rd time if you see "diagnosing your PC" allow it to advance to the windows recovery or advanced troubleshooting menu.

There you should have options for:
    reset with save files
    reset with remove files
    restore
    startup repair
    startup options
    command prompt
    etc

    Okay. It's a 240 GB drive.
It can take many hours even with a 240 GB drive depending on the drive findings.

The test that we use is Memtest86+
When using Memtest86+ we use the latest version 5.01

We don't use other software programs.
We post the links for use.
Sometimes people look at the name and see Memtest86 and think it is the same thing.
It's different software. It's another company.

So please run testing with Memtest86+ version 5.01 performing 8 or more passes so that we can view the test results (please post an image into the thread)

    Which repair did you choose?
