Windows 10: BSOD when waking up from Hibernation [win10]

I've encountered a BSOD for the third time, when I booted my PC from hibernation as well as once from a cold boot. The Machine just boots fine after the BSOD. I passed the Memtest with flying colours as well as sfc/scannow and a DISM/Online/Cleanup-Image/RestoreHealth. I've also tried snooping around in the Dumpfiles with WinDbg, but I'm not skilled enough in IT to understand what's going on here.I don't see this as a significant Problem, since I'm saving my files before initiating a hibernation, but it should be reported and examined.Here's a OneDrive link containing a zip File with my three

S4 (hibernation) USB/network wake up

Hi,

I have this annoying problem. When my computer enters the S4 powerstate (hibernation) I can wake it up by just clicking with the mouse. Even when EuP is enabled the mouse can still wake up the computer. After a night of sleep I find the computer powered on. So not only can the mouse wake up the system, it also seems that network traffic can too.

I thought that hibernation was like power off but with the option to save the RAM to disk. At least before I always need to push the power button to boot after hibernation.

Any suggestions?

This BSOD is continuing and happening more frequently...
It has to point where it is pointless to sleep/hibernate as it crashes everytime when waking up... having to shutdown everytime and booting up takes ages

 

Waking and Hibernate issues with new Laptop

I recently purchased a new laptop running windows 11 and found that

1. If I select the external mouse NOT to wake the PC in Power Management tab in properties, it continues to wake it. I tried different brands both wired and wireless and all showed the same issue.
   
2. If I select the internal mousepad To Wake the PC in power management tab in properties - NOTHING happens.
   
3. If I select the lid to wake the PC when it is open, this works as expected for up to 3 hours but at this point, when I open the lid, the PC does NOT wake up and the screen remains black. I have to press the power button to wake/reboot the PC as hitting the keyboard or mouse does nothing. I am then presented with a login window. It feels as though the PC goes from sleep into a hibernate mode after 3 hrs. The hibernate function is not listed in the advanced power options menu and neither does it show up when I click on the power button. Since I did not select the laptop to hibernate after 3 hrs sleep I have no idea what is going on.
   

I have an old Lenovo laptop running win10 and I have complete control of the lid and wake devices and so have no idea why I do not have the same control with this new laptop.

I do not know if these issues are related to the manufacturers setting rather than issues with Win11? I have heard that MS removed the Hibernate option from the power button and/or advanced power options list BUT wasnt aware that Hibernate was still operating under the bonnet and kicks in after 3 hrs sleep !?

any guidance would be helpful as the manufacturer is stating that this is normal behaviour. From my previous 20 years experience working with PC's and laptops, this is definitely NOT normal.
