    BSOD while playing game

I've been getting random blue screens in this year, but recently they have only occured while playing a game. In the last few days I have tried to update drivers and some other random stuff, but they didn't solve my problem. In the past blue screens came right away, but now when I'm in the game my screen turns black and computer starts to shut down, then when I start my computer again the blue screen appears while starting up.

If you need more information, please let me know.

    :)

The CPU is OK. Run CHKDSK with /R parameter on each partition and see if windows is able to correct the bad sector. (The command is chkdsk X: /r replacing X with Each HDD). Get the result of CHKDSK using Check Disk (chkdsk) - Read Event Viewer Log - Windows 7 Help Forums
-Same for 10. and post back the results.

I would suggest to remove the ASUS software, it is known for being a problem.

It seems ASUS doesn't provide driver updates for some drivers like the Intel Rapid Storage Technology drivers.

Try to remove Intel Rapid Storage Technology applications.
    1. Uninstall it from Control Panel > Programs and Features.
    2. Uninstall the driver from device manager:
    - Right click on "my computer" icon and click "manage" on the context menu.
    - In the "Computer Management" window that opens:
    - Select "Device Manager" in the left pane, It will list all the existing devices.
    - Expand "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers" by clicking on the triangle in front of it.
    - Select one Intel device item under it, right click, then uninstall.
    - Repeat the process for all Intel items under "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers"
    3. Now restart the computer.
    4. Once booted, Windows will auto configure the appropriate native system driver.

Thanks for replying! I did what you told me to do, but unfortunately that didn't help. Any other ideas?

Unfortunately that is what I thought.

Contact ASUS for drivers and ask if they provide updates anytime soon, else you are related to Windows Update.

I managed to solve my BSOD problem. Gaming didn't actually cause the blue screen, it just put my laptop to sleep mode and when I tried to start up my laptop again then the BSOD arrived.

I accidentally find this article when I searched solution for my really long start up and boot times. (about 10 minutes, after BSOD maybe 25 minutes) And there it was, problem that caused BSOD when coming back from sleep mode and really long boot times.

How to disassemble Asus S56C | Inside my laptop This is what I did and now my laptop start up time is about 1 minute and no more blue screens

TL;DR I had failed iSSD module in my computer, after removing it, my laptop was fine.

Thanks anyway for your effort to try to solve my problem!
