    BSOD while using 3DS max


    I got my asus laptop a few months ago and it was working perfectly fine. I recently started getting BSOD while using 3Ds max 2020. It would freeze the whole laptop and then a BSOD would appear. I updated all the drivers and I ran a system update to check if there is anything for me to update but it didn't do anything. I tried reverting to the previous version of windows and the problem is still there. I scanned the laptop for viruses and nothing appeared. I deleted many apps and softwares, re-installed 3ds max, disk cleaned but the problem wasn't solved. What else should I do? BSOD while using 3DS max [​IMG]i

    BSOD After Closing 3ds Max


    Hi axe0,

    3ds Max 2017 is now working properly. I don't know exactly what fixed it but thanks for your help!

    3ds Max 2015 still causes BSOD so I'm guessing some files were corrupted during this mess. It's no longer needed so I'll just uninstall.

    1) What is the size of RAM(Random access memory) on your computer?

    2) Is the issue confined to 3Ds max application?

    I would suggest you to download the latest Nvidia SLI driver for Windows 10 and try installing it.
