Windows 10: BSOD Win 10 - 0x00000154 UNEXPECTED_STORE_EXCEPTION

Hey,

I've been getting these bluescreens with a bug check code 0x00000154 and I've been trying already a few things, once I get the BSOD and the system restarts, I run into booting issue as well .

I’m sharing the minidumps for a better analysis of the problem

UNEXPECTED_STORE_EXCEPTION bsod

It is possible that you received the error UNEXPECTED_STORE_EXCEPTION due to hardware or a faulty driver.

BSOD Downloading: 0x00000154

Event log shows a lot of disk retries:








As you can see, the most recent was today.

Open a Elevated Command Prompt and run the following commands:

diskpart
list disk
list vol
exit

Right click on the Command Prompt title bar and select Edit then Select all.
Repeat and select Edit then Copy.

Paste results in a post here.



Diagnostics Test


HDD TEST

Run HDTune to

• check the health,
• scan for errors, not quick scan but full scan
• run a benchmark.

Run CrystalDiskInfo Portable and CrystalDiskMark Portable to

• Check health of drive
• Check performance of drive

You can also try the various options available with chkdsk.

 

BSOD Error Code 0x00000154 While Gaming

The title explains it. I am getting a BSOD with the error code 0x00000154 while gaming. The screen reads UNEXPECTED_STORE_EXCEPTION when it crashes. This seems to only be happening during the new Star
Wars beta. It used to happen with H1Z1 until I uninstalled the Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver. The dump file can be found here: Dropbox - Link not found .
