  3. Stopping the 1709 update

is there any way to delay in windows 10 Home? It is a nightmare trying to upgrade to 1709 again and again. Can Microsoft solve this upgrade problems? MEMORY_MANAGEMENT is the only sign in BSOD .

Wherefrom you got the nvidia display driver?
Asking because it is noe driver that is flagging there.

    Do two things.

► Download and install Malwarebytes Free version ... scroll down to this page. Boot the computer in safe mode and perform a full scan.

► Enable Driver Verifier to monitor the drivers. Driver Verifier - Enable and DisableRun Driver Verifier for 24 hours or the occurrence of the next crash, whichever is earlier.

    BSOD Windows 10 Home [IMG]
    Information Why Driver Verifier:
It puts a stress on the drivers, ans so it makes the unstable drivers crash. Hopefully the driver that crashes is recorded in the memory dump.

How Can we know that DV is enabled:
It will make the system bit of slow, laggy.

    BSOD Windows 10 Home [IMG]
Warning Before enabling DV, make it sure that you have earlier System restore points made in your computer. You can check it easily by using CCleaner looking at Tools > System Restore.

If there is no points, make a System Restore Point manually before enabling DV.

    BSOD Windows 10 Home [IMG]
    Tip

Let us know the results, with the subsequent crash dumps, if any.

** If you have anything installed from an unknown/warez source, uninstall it.

Code: DRIVER_OVERRAN_STACK_BUFFER (f7) A driver has overrun a stack-based buffer. This overrun could potentially allow a malicious user to gain control of this machine. DESCRIPTION A driver overran a stack-based buffer (or local variable) in a way that would have overwritten the function's return address and jumped back to an arbitrary address when the function returned. This is the classic "buffer overrun" hacking attack and the system has been brought down to prevent a malicious user from gaining complete control of it. Do a kb to get a stack backtrace -- the last routine on the stack before the buffer overrun handlers and bugcheck call is the one that overran its local variable(s). As Arc is gone for a few days, I'll see if I can help *Smile
Driver verifier did not flag any driver, this usually is indicative of another problem then drivers (usually hardware), please follow below instructions carefully to test the memory.

A question, is there a BIOS update available at the support page of Samsung?

    Note
    BSOD Windows 10 Home [IMG]

MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 complete passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.
    Addition:
If errors show up you can stop the test, remove all sticks but 1 and test this single stick in each slot for 8 passes or until errors show, switch sticks and repeat.
If errors show up and you see them a lot later, no problem, the errors don't affect the test.

    BSOD Windows 10 Home

After a clean reinstall, dont rush with drivers and software.
Get the drivers from Samsung's website only, install them one by one. Dont take any utility from Samsung.
Add software one by one. Watch it carefully when the problem re-arises. Just after installation, or after installing drivers, or after installing a particular software.

It will help a lot to eliminate the problematic item.
