Windows 10: BSOD within 2 minutes of load

My desktop started blue screening last week, was only doing it once a day or so, I figured I would get to it later.... Go forward to last night and it BSOD, and I rebooted and BSOD again within about 2 minutes of windows load. I went into safe mode, same thing.

I ran chkdsk last night, it ran 4 hours, and upon reboot same thing, I pulled out all but one stick of ram, BSOD, I traded the ram stick BSOD. I went into Windows recovery and tired to roll back the image, and it told me it could not access the file, and try another point...

At this point I am not sure what my next step should be, I can get into DOS and grab the dump file, but I cannot get into the GUI to do anything at all at this point, was looking for some pro help here to avoid reformating...

CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT After Leaving PC for 5-10 Minutes


Daemon tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known cause for BSOD's.
Please remove Daemon Tools and run the SPTD pass through remover.

1. Uninstall Daemon Tools
2. Download the SPTD standalone installer and follow these steps:
   • Double click the executable to open it
   • Click on the button shown below

If the button is grayed out, like in the image, there is no more SPTD installation on your system, and you can close the window.

The 0x101(CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT) is mostly caused by BIOS or hardware problem, the challenge is to find software problems.
I suggest to update your BIOS.

Windows 10 (sometimes) goes to sleep after only 2 minutes of inactivity

Hello Mark,

Your screensaver might be one of the possible reasons why your computer goes to sleep every time the computer is inactive. It is possible that the idle time is set every 2 minutes. Having said that, you can try adjusting the waiting time by following the
steps below and see if it makes any difference:

• Go to Control Panel, click on Appearance and Personalization.
• Select Personalization.
  
• Click on Screen Saver at the bottom right.
• Adjust the waiting time and hit Apply.

If the issue persists, we recommend trying the suggestions posted by Aleksandr 10 in this
thread. Most of the Community users found his suggestions
helpful.

Windows 10 Boots very slow Indeed( Taking 2 minutes and 20 seconds to load)

I can understand your concern and will be glad to assist you further.

Let's try the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to enable Fast Start Up on the system and check if it helps. To do this, follow the steps below.

• Open Control Panel and go to Power Options.
• Click/tap on the Choose what the power buttons do link on the left side.
• Click/tap on the Change settings that are currently unavailable link at the top.
• If prompted by UAC, then click/tap on Yes.
  
• Ensure that Turn On Fast Start up is Checked.
• Restart the computer.

Step 2: Also try to run System maintenance troubleshooter
and check if it helps.

    Press Windows + X key.
    
  • 
    Select Control panel.
    
  • 
    In the search box, type Troubleshooter and
    then click Troubleshooting.
    
  • 
    Under System and Security,
    
  • 
    Click on System Maintenance and Click on
    Next button.
