    BSOD's after recent Windows Update

    Hello,

I've recently experienced multiple BSOD's after a windows update. After the computer restarts from the BSOD, my USB Wifi Adapter doesn't seem to connect to my wifi. After unplugging and re-inserting the usb adapter, it connects and is fine until my computer BSOD's again. It usually happens when using the internet. My chrome browser will sometimes give me the "aw snap" error shortly before my computer gives the BSOD.

I'm thinking it is probably to do with the adapter, but really have no idea how to find out. Any help would be tremendous!

The Wifi adapter I'm refering to is a Cisco AE2500 usb adapter.

    Thanks!!
    -Bill

    :)

  2. Windows 10 BSOD IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, after last big update patch

Original Title: Windows 10 after last big update patch

    Hello,

I recently updated my Windows 10 to the newest patch. After that I got two BSODs in two days. The explanation was MEMORY_MANAGEMENT

I after a week with no errors I added another RAM stick to my laptop (Corsair Value 4gb) yesterday, since then I get BSOD every time I turn on the laptop.

Also before the last BSOD I tried to run memtest, but it failed instantly.

Latest BSOD is IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL which I could find a meaning for.

Could you help me ? Is this a problem from the last patch and memory management of windows or should I try to change RAM?

    Note
BSOD's after recent Windows Update [IMG]

MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 complete passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.

Make a photo of the result and post it.

    Addition:
If errors show up you can stop the test, remove all sticks but 1 and test this single stick in each slot for 8 passes or until errors show, switch sticks and repeat.
If errors show up and you see them a lot later, no problem, the errors don't affect the test.
