  1. BSODs in resource intensive programs

Started happening after Window update. PC works fine until I run a program such as 3dmark where I will get a bsod at a random point in the benchmark without warning. I turned back all overclocks to their default values, reinstalled Nvidia drivers and updated windows. Ran Windows Memory Diagnostic test and used the chkdsk command on the storage drives and both came back clean. No problems with temps. I can't understand windows minidump files myself so I'm hoping someone here can make sense of these and help me.https://1drv.ms/u/s!Angp8Zm7eiFagZRKyaOow9VlI8BYuw?e=o3NVPV

  2. Windows 10 often shows BSOD

    Hi Ivan,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

This happens most often when playing graphic intensive games, but can happen with any process that uses a large amount of graphic resources, such as when editing or creating videos.

Some things you can do to avoid these problems:

    a. Make sure you are using the latest graphics device driver.

    b. Manage your time working with programs that are graphic intensive, exit any other programs that might also use a large amount of resources.

Please try the below methods and check if it works:

Method 1: I would suggest you to run “Hardware and Devices” troubleshooter to diagnose the exact issue. Follow these steps to run the troubleshooter:

    • Press “Windows key + Q”.

    • Type “Troubleshooting” without quotes in the Search box and hit enter.

    • Select “Hardware and Sound” from the Troubleshooter Window.

    • Select “Hardware and Devices” under Devices option.

    • Follow the On Screen instructions.

Method 2: I would suggest you to download and install the latest graphic card drivers from the manufacturer’s website and check.
Follow these steps to install the drivers in compatibility mode and check if that helps.

    • Download the driver from the manufacturer’s website.

    • Right-click on the driver setup file and click on
      ‘properties’.

    • Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box
‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 10 from the drop down menu and proceed with the installation. Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists.

Hope this helps. Do contact us for any further assistance with Windows, we'll be glad to assist you.

    Regards,

    Jenith

  3. Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

    BSODs in resource intensive programs

    Random BSOD while browsing internet

BitDefender is nothing special. mwac.sys causes BSODs anywhere.
A tiny documentation can be found here: Solved Random BSODs - Windows 10 Forums
In that very thread, the suggested action apparently worked.

The storage and network filters of any third party antivirus can cause BSODs. Neither MBAM nor BitDefender is any special. For a regular antivirus, it may be shifted to an alternative; but MBAM has no alternative. So a clean install of the said program is the most feasible first step.
As far as the first step is not failing, it is better to not think for the second step. Because the BSODs are not universal, failure at the first step is not universal; and success at the second step is also not universal.
That is why I posted that my suggestion may work, or may not. Let us see where it goes.
