Windows 10: BSODS related to video, Video TDR failure and DXGKRNL.sys

We have a precision 7910 Tower, With Dual Xeon Procs with Dual Nvidia K4200's installed. It started having problem with the monitors where 2 monitors would go black and then get the Video TDR failure bsod. We thought initially it was just one of the cards so we tried swapping them in their slots. Still happening but problem didnt really seem to stay with the card. Tried removing 1 card. no change,Tried swapping the 1 card in main pci slot. no change. Tried cards in secondary pcie slot only. no change. Uninstall Drivers using DDU. System stable for hoursReinstall most recent nvidia drive

BSOD Video TDR Failure


She probably needs to do a video driver update. Get her to go to the manufacturers website for her graphics card and update her graphics card drivers.

Video TDR BSOD

Hi all

Hoping someone can help. Running windows10 and getting BSOD video tdr failure igdkmd64.sys when i start my computer up and it is connected to a second monitor. We have tried the following to no avail, open to all suggestions!

- Added TdrDelay, no change

- updated windows and drivers, no change

- removed both drivers (intel and nvidia), when we removed the intel driver the computer actually started up okay with no BSOD, so we are assuming it has something to do with the intel driver?

Hi valihrach,

Some of your suggestions are not for TDR problems, TDR problems are video related and things as sata/raid controller driver replacement have nothing to do with video related things.

The third thing is a personal opinion and may not be a solution for the OP, many will say that AMD sucks where many others will say that Nvidia sucks.
