Well

Here I am again. Built a brand new PC and windows 10 hates me again. I am getting BSODs in game.

Frequent blue screen of death

Hey,

About a week ago, my laptop started crashing every time I logged in. I haven't done any updates recently or installed any new software, so I don't know why this is happening. I have gotten the following error codes:

KMODE EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED

what failed: NTFS.sys

IRQL THE LESS OR EQUAL

SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION

what failed: FLTMGR.SYS

SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION

SYSTEM THREAD NOT HANDLED

what failed: dxgmms2.sys

KMODE EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED

what failed: NTFS.sys

SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION

what failed: FLTMGR.SYS

PAGE FOR IN NONPAGED AREA

anyone have any ideas?

 

Windows 10 64bit, Blue Screen of Death (BSOD)

Hi again,

So, I haven't had the DPC Watchdog error since fixing the driver issue - however, I woke up to another BSOD this morning..

This time the stop code was: SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION

win32kfull.sys

Thoughts?

So many different bugchecks are there. It will be good to make it sure that the Memory is not causing the issue.
Test your RAM modules for possible errors.MemTest86+ - Test RAM Run memtest86+ for at least 8 consecutive passes.

If it start showing errors/red lines, stop testing. A single error is enough to determine that something is going bad there.
Take a camera snap of the memtest86+ window before closing the program. Let us see it.

Everything is fine now. I've had some memory issues with this PC before because the RAM sticks don't have any headspreaders so they get hot.

I upped the voltage to my CPU and RAM and had no BSODS since.

 

OK. Wait for a few days and then mark the thread as solved. *Smile
