BSODs while idle or low power

Hi all, I have posted about this several times, but still no solution. Here is my setup:

    CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor

CPU Cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock TF 67.8 CFM Fluid Dynamic Bearing CPU Cooler

Motherboard: MSI MAG X570 TOMAHAWK WIFI ATX AM4 Motherboard

    Memory: G.Skill Trident Z RGB 32 GB 2 x 16 GB DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory

Storage: ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro 2 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive

Video Card: EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 24 GB FTW3 ULTRA GAMING Video Card

Case: Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic ATX Full Tower Case

Power Supply: Corsair RMx White 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply

Since buying these parts new 2 months ago I have had almost-daily BSODs while idle or low usage browsing web, watching video, etc.. The most common stop code is IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, but also includes KERNAL_AUTO_BOOST_INVALID_LOCK_RELEASE, REFERENCE_BY_POINTER, and others. These BSODs do not occur while under load gaming, mainly.

    Things I have tried:

    • Stress test benchmarks on CPU, GPU, and RAM with no issues or errors.
    • Error checking NVME drive with no issues.
    • Updated all drivers and BIOS 3 different BIOS versions, no fix.
    • Disabled C-State and XMP
    • Enabled "maximum performance" in Nvidia control panel
    • Suspected an issue with sleep mode, but disabling this and enabling "maximum performance" power management didn't help.
    • Reset 'Driver Verification' settings - this seemed to help temporarily, but doesn't seem to be a permanent fix.
    • Since RAM/GPU/CPU seemed to be working correctly, I replaced the entire mobo same model - this fixed some Bluetooth connectivity issues, but not the BSODs.

I have also reformatted the computer a couple of times, redownloaded drivers, etc. Also reseated all components.

Here is a link to my recent minidumps: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1jWWLC1UyBCoEYRj4dRR1GXFY-17NpRL6/view?usp=sharing

Please let me know if you need anything else. Any help would be appreciated - I'm under warranty on all components, but would rather try to pinpoint the issue before randomly replacing things.

    Thanks!

    :)

    Bluetooth still on while idle

Thanks for following the steps. Now, the settings won't take effect if you are only using normal PC idle mode. Normal functionality of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi settings are to stay connected even if PC is idle. With the settings that you have created, we would
suggest that you set your PC to automatically go to Sleep or
    Hibernate
once idle. In this way, the settings "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" should take effect.

To set your PC to automatically go to Sleep or Hibernate when idle, please follow these steps:

    • Open Control Panel, set view by: Small
      icons.
    • Look for Power Options.
    • Click on Change when the computer sleeps on the left pane.
    • Set a timer.

Please try it out. Hope it helps. If you have any other concerns, don't hesitate to come back to us.

    High Idle power consumption

    Hi,

A laptop in idle still drains the battery. It can be one of the lists below are the reasons why your discharging faster.

    • The power plan is on High-Performance. It consumes more energy because it maximizes the computer's usage. Toggle it as Balanced by going to Control Panel > System and Security > Power Options.
    • Too many background applications running. We can check this by going to Windows Settings > System > Battery saver > Battery usage by app. You can set adjust the settings of your battery there as well. Also, please follow the tips on the window on how you
      can manage your battery.
    • You use the second graphics card as your display to an external monitor.
    • Using sleep mode instead of hibernate mode. Hibernate mode is advisable to use when stepping away from the device for very long.

In addition to this, you can run the automatic troubleshooter to
find and fix problems with your computer's power settings to conserve power and extend battery life
    .

Feel free to post back if you need further help.
