  3. N95 FAULTS/PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS ?

    Just been doing some online speed checks, and looks like the the HSDPA is working as quickly as my home 2MB Broadband connection!

    414161 bytes in

    2.251 seconds for N95 via web n walk.

    3.016 seconds for N95 via WLAN and BT 2Meg broadband.

    2.591 seconds for Powerbook G4 via BT 2Meg broadband!

    which nokia phone has faster data transfer, upload and download..anyhow phone faster than 6630 ?

    I have a 6630 and its has a data tansfer speed of

    WCDMA 2100 - Maximum download 384kbps; upload 128kbps

    EDGE : Mobile broadband access with upload up to 118.4 kbps and download up to 236.8 kbps

    Note: Actual achieved speeds may vary depending on network support

    GPRS (Class B, Multislot class 10) - Maximum download 53.6 kbps

    any phone faster than this ?

    Yeh, Z3, me too. At the moment I am on the end of an 8km copper wire connection. Speed "up to" 2mbs.

  6. Ditto that one John, it'll never happen though where I live, in fact the exchange we connect too is wholly owned by BT and the usual copper wires, nobody else gets a look in. *Sad

    Our exchange was supposedly upgraded, wonderful news you would think? Our speed has gone from 5 to 6 - it was an upgrade to allow us 'up to 24' 'nuff said!

    BT needs a swift kick up its backside.

    Well, I have fibre net running down my road, operated by another ISP. For me, it is not politics. The cost of the installation and monthly renting is beyond my budget.
