Windows 10: BT Connection Issues

Hi, I have a strange problem that has driven me crazy for the last 3 days. I am trying to use dynamic lock for my laptop. However, my phone can not connect to the laptop via Bluetooth. On the other hand, I have no problem while using the Windows Phone Link application or Asus GlideX software. Moreover, If I choose to connect to my Phone via "Personal Area Network PAN" under the Bluetooth options, it works perfectly and the dynamic lock is working as intended. However, after I return to the range of Bluetooth connection, it doesn't connect to my phone automatically via PAN. I tried to complet

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

connection Issue with WiFi

• What is the Version and Build of Windows 10 currently installed? (Type
  winver in Windows search/Run command)

• What is the make and model of the PC?
  

• Are you aware of any changes on the PC prior to this issue?

BT Keyboard no longer connected after Creators Update

In trying to answer your questions:

I cannot determine by looking at 'update history' when exactly this update was done. It is not listed as 'Creators Update'

I see update (KB4016871) on 5/9

I see update (KB4020821) on 5/9

I see update (KB4016240) on 5/1

When I try to add the device, it shows 'keyboard' in the BT screen but times out after about a minute of trying to connect. I
have pushed the associated 'connect' button of the keyboard. There are no error codes.

I have tried to BT this keyboard to my laptop and it does connect to my laptop with no problems.

I had nothing else using BT on my computer, so after receiving your reply I tried to BT an older Jambox to the computer. It sees the Jambox once I put it in pairing mode but it will not pair. It times out. The Jambox readily pairs to my other devices.

It does not seem to be a hardware issue with the BT, but some sort of software or driver issue.

Ill take any suggestions short of wiping the machine and starting over.
