Windows 10: Bt usb dongle not working

Hi, i bought a bt dongle for my pc, mainly to get my controller to work, but it doesn’t seem to work on my pc, works perfectly on my laptop but not on my pc. I installed drivers, re installed my drivers and used different ports, but still nothing, help would be appreciated

To assist you better, I would like to know what is the model number of the BT dongle?

Let’s try uninstalling and reinstalling the dongle driver and check if that helps. Follow the below steps.

• 
  Press Windows key + X and select
  Device Manager.
  
• 
  Click on Universal Serial Bus to expand it.
  
• 
  Right click on the dongle device and select uninstall.
  
• 
  Once you are done uninstalling the driver restart the computer and try reconnecting the dongle again.
  

To buy new BT dongle, it would be best if you contact BTcare they would be best to help you with the dongle which is best for Windows 10.

BT EDR DONGLE Driver Error

I have a 10-year-old Hitachi Starboard Tablet that works fine on my Dell desktop (running Windows 10) but when I plug the BTU02H-G dongle into my Dell Laptop (also running on Windows 10), the Settings screen for "Bluetooth & other devices" on my laptop lists "BT EDR Dongle Driver Error" and the tablet is not discoverable.
How do I update the driver for my laptop or correct the driver error?
