Windows 10: Bubbles screensaver with picture displayed. How to put in login password setting after come...

About the post in 2012. I managed to follow the instructions to show the desktop picture on the bubbles screen saver but didn't manage to put in the setting to make the Windows 10 ask for the login when I come back.


I did the setting on the main bubbles screen saver setting but the custom program didn't work.


Do you think I could change the settings?

The Bubbles screensaver is located at the Screen Saver Settings. Kindly follow these steps to set Bubbles as your Screen Saver:

• On the Search bar, type in change screen saver and press
  Enter.
• The Screen Saver Settings window will come up.
• Under the drop down menu on Screen saver, select Bubbles.
• Under Wait, customize the time frame (minutes) if needed.
• Put a check mark on On resume, display logon screen.
• Click Apply and then click OK.

The Screen saver will appear based on your selected time frame.

Microsoft Bubbles Screensaver

In your case I would go with spapakons suggestion and try using the Watch 4 Idle app since it appears that you can adjust the settings somewhat. I've never used it so I would have to install it to test its capabilities. With my suggestion, because the Microsoft Bubbles screensaver has no settings such as the ability to use the escape button to turn it off for example, verses using the mouse, you're basically stuck using the mouse and if the mouse moves; as in your case with a rocking ship you'd have to click on the icon again. Since you're using a laptop though, you could just disable the mouse if you're using one since you have the pad on a laptop. In that instance, it would take touching the pad to turn it off. Good luck. I have a feeling that Microsoft has had a lot of feedback with regards to the transparent screensavers so maybe they'll come up with a fix for it, who knows? *sarc

Sorry, but this does not even come close to answering my question. My question was "how do I set the "Bubbles" screensaver to be transparent to show my desktop picture". You gave me an answer that set the lock screen up on my computer!?!

Sooooo, at the risk of repeating myself: How do I get the "Bubbles" screensaver to show my desktop picture in Windows 10 Creator? The "Bubbles" screensaver used to be transparent so that the underlying window or desktop showed. It now has a solid background
covering the underlying window or desktop - very undesirable. Please, someone, tell me how to achieve transparency!
