Windows 10: Bug brand new Windows 11: File Explorer does not show "Recent files" menu

I've just bought a brand new laptop from Dell's official website in Australia. Naturally, it came with Windows 11 installed.After using it for a few weeks, I realized that the "Recent files" menu is not showing in Windows File Explorer.I tried to solve it easily by selecting the "Show recently used files" option in "Folder Options." But apparently, there's a bug. When I close the "Folder Options" window, nothing changes on the Home page of File Explorer. More suspiciously, when I open "Folder Options" again, the "Show recently used files" option is unchecked.I tried restoring the system to fac

that's all off already dude lol, I'm really surprised there is no fix for the recent files list/MRU in the file menu of programs haha

I appreciate the help, MS really needs to implement a Group Policy or a string that can do that for all programs installed
