Windows 10: Bug: Fresh install of Windows 10 (using Reset > install from this device) - Windows Store,...

Hello,

I recently ran into a problem with my Windows Store (I could not reinstall gears 5 - everything else worked fine).

Figuring it was a good excuse for a reset of Windows, to tidy things up a bit, I used the following options to reset Windows:

Recovery > Remove Everything > Reinstall from this device.

Windows 10 reinstalls fine. I go to Start and every single 'innate' Windows app is doing this (see image:https://imgur.com/a/eppOs5f ). The Windows Store has no 'presence' - it shows up in Start, in search, etc, but takes up 0 bytes of space.

I know I can muck about with Powershell, but I am confused by this - I can't 'remove' what is there, and I can't 'reinstall' what is there, but is not... there.

Help!

It's basically what I mentioned above, small issues here and there ,but nothing to end your day.. for the most part.

I know it's anecdotal, but for my experience 95% of the time it's perfectly fine. The issues I've run into wouldn't be enough for me to roll back , but they would be enough (had I not installed it yet) ,to avoid it for another couple weeks which is why I'm suggesting it to the OP

Windows 10 installing progs

I decided to take the plunge and upgrade to windows 10 from 7. I used the Media Creation Tool from MS website. It took awhile, but I am finally running Windows 10 (12-14).

I opened the new App & Program feature to remove programs that I no longer needed. Scrolling down the list, I was horrified! Apps that I didn't install somehow magically installed themselves. Two programs stood out: Facebook and Candy Crush Soda Saga. Both programs have those tale-tale icons that they came from Windows Store (which I've never even opened). The install date for both of them were on 12-26.

Is this a common thing for Windows 10? Or is it because I did an upgrade and not a clean install?
