    bug?! homegroup and administrator(s)

i create a homegroup logging in as administrator. then, i log in as limited user.

if i try to share a folder with the homegroup it requires me to insert the administrator password. it doesn't happen creating the homegroup as limited user.

is it a bug?! couldn't find anything in the guide...

    :)

  2. Ghost homegroup can't be deleted

I forgot to say that when the other PC is shut down the homegroup that this one says it has disappears. So the situation seems to be:

    1. PC1 created a homegroup.

    2. PC2 joined PC1's homegroup.

    3. PC1's homegroup disappeared.

    4. PC1 is somehow detecting the ghost of the homegroup that PC2 joined.

Confused? Join the club! I am able to create a new homegroup on PC1, but not able to get PC2 to join it.

    How to delete ghost homegroup?

I have a system, let's call it S, running Windows 10 Home on my network. This system had a previous user, let's call him Tom, which set up a homegroup. This user account has now since been deleted and there is no way to recover the password to this homegroup
    (or is there?).

Now it's where it gets interesting. Even though now there is no trace of Tom on S (I scrubbed both the file system and the registry), S remains convinced that it's hosting a homegroup and would broadcast it to the rest of my network. When I go to homegroup
settings on other computers, I would see the message "Tom on S has invited you to join a homegroup."

Of course, if I simply turn S off, I can create a homegroup on another computer and have everyone else on the network join that one with no problems, but there is simply no way to make S join this new homegroup because it thinks it's invited to join Tom's
    ghost homegroup.

    Things I've tried so far:

    Cleared contents of C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Roaming\PeerNetworking

    Cleared contents of HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\HomeGroup\

I've put many hours researching into this issue and I'm running out of ideas. Any pointers are welcome!
