Bug in Explorer Search: Kind property values not translated to local language

"In Windows 7 and later, mnemonic keywords work in the system language only, such as German keywords only on a German operating system, and English keywords only on an English operating system."

* Select a display language other than English I tried Dutch and German
* Open Explorer, go to a folder and search for something
* Clear the search field and click the local representation of the Kind button and choose for example the local representation of the Folder value
* The Kind property and value are put in the search field, however the value is not translated to the local language
In Dutch the search field reads "soort:folder" instead of "soort:=map"
In German the search field reads "art:folder" instead of "art:=ordner"
Because folder is not a valid keyword in non English languages the resulting search query is equivalent to searching for the word folder instead of searching for items with the property Kind matching the value Folder.

Relevant information:
* Tested using 64bit Windows 10 version 2004 19041.572 Pro and Home
* Other property buttons for example the Size button do not have this problem
* Windows 10 Enterprise Evaluation version 1809 17763.1518 doesn't have this bug
* I have heard the problem does not occur on 64bit Windows Home version 1903 18362.1139

Can anyone using Windows 10 build 2004 and using a non English display language confirm this issue?

Important Info regarding Translations

• Only the tooltip texts will be translated (like the one in the screenshot, mouseover for entries in the main window and for the sensor labels).
• Submit suggestions only if you are a native speaker of that language and have experience with the technical terms used.
• Subscribe to threads of "your" translation so you can easily be notified of updates.
• Any language can be added as long as all/most of its texts are translated.
• Please make sure you use proper spelling, grammar etc.
• Translated texts will be provided to TPU free of charge and become property of TPU

To add a new translation, make a new thread in this forum. Do not make multiple threads for the same language.
You are free to use the target language in your discussions in that thread, but please use english if you want me to understand something *Wink

Let's try to open Google translator webpage, by running Internet Explorer as an Administrator.



To start Internet Explorer as an Administrator, follow these steps:



a) Close all Internet Explorer windows.

b) Type Internet Explorer on the search bar, then right-click Internet Explorer tab and select Run as Administrator option.

c) Browse Google translator webpage, while running the Internet Explorer as the Administrator.



If the issue persists, try the next method.



Method 2:

Try to open Google translator webpage, after disabling Protected Mode.

Set IE as default browser.

b. Click on Default Programs in the search results.

c. Click on Set your Default Programs.

e. Select Set this program as default, and then, click OK.
