Windows 10: Bug in Windows Security Update KB5022834

Hi, I was getting a BSOD details below after installing this update I removed it and then Windows automatically installed it again and the problem started right away. It seems an issue with the antimalware service from Windows Defender. Couldn't fix this without removing Windows Defender or the update. Windows 7 Ultimate (64) Security updates not installing.

I have been having problems in installing the updates that I have listed below. For each update I attempted to install them individually but they would not install. I also downloaded the SURT 6.1 KB947821 v27. The problem has been going on now for about 2 months. (whenever the issue with the updates comes to mind I am never near my pc). Thank you in advance.

Windows 10 Update KB5022834 Causes BSOD Blue Screen

Thanks, I tried this, and it found the only update was KB5022834 and an optional preview update. KB5022834 installed and immediately started causing repeated BSOD. I rolled back the install of KB5022834, installed MalwareBytes, scanned, and found nothing.

Running dism.exe didn't seem to do anything, and sfc found nothing in the scan.

I'm now attempting to install the optional preview KB first and then see if KB5022834 will stop causing BSODs.

 

Windows 10 Version 22H2 (KB5022834) will not update

Further to last post, after trying the Troubleshoot Update suggestion and restarting, the update install reached 100% before crashing again. But now got slightly different error message:

2023-02 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5022834) -Error 0x8007000d

Status: Some update files are missing or have problems. We'll try to download the update again later. Error code: (0x8007000d)
