Windows 10: Bug in Windows Update catalog about Win Server 2016 Standalone Patch "KB5006669"

In Microsoft Update Catalog there is a Bug related to the patch KB5006669 for Win server 2016. Although, the link is available for server 2016 but when try to download it the .msu file behind the link is for Win 10 not for Serever 2016. As mentioned in enclosed picture.

Windows Server 2016 Standalone Installer Update Stuck on Searching for Other Updates

Hi there,

We are currently encounter problems updating Windows Server 2016 using standalone installers.

The server is not connected to the internet so we manually download the Windows update standalone installer and transfer it to the server.

We then run the standalone installer but it is always stuck at 'Searching for other updates on this computer'.

We tried to set the Windows Update service to 'Manual' and no configuration on Windows Update on group policy.

After manually killing the standalone installer service from the task manager and try to restart the Windows Update services, it always hangs on 'Stopping'. We tried to restart the server but same behavior happens.

Are the any ways we can prevent or bypass the 'Searching on other updates on this computer' when installing standalone installers?

 

MS16-039 patches for Windows Server 2016

Dear Sir,

I have an Windows Server 2016. After I scan with Nessus (Tenable). It is found that quite some .NET framework vulnerabilities. However some of the findings I cannot found any patch for Server 2016.

Take example as MS16-039, I cannot find any information that there is a patch for Windows Server 2016. Also cannot found if there is any other patches already superseded.

Could you show me where that I can find whether:

1. Windows Server 2016 is not affected, or

2. There is already a superseded patch installed in Windows Server 2016
