Windows 10: Bug report of Windows 10 Version 1903

I don't know whether this is the right place to write a feedback but still posting.


I update my Windows 10 to 1903 (Build 18362) recently and tried for a few days, here're some bugs/problems I've found:


1. Screen may not automatically turn off when closing the Type Cover on Surface Pro device (for me, it's the Surface Pro 4).

2. Color management profile failed when full screen programs (games, etc.) running or recovering from sleep. Have to manually reload the profile and use window (borderless) mode to avoid this issue.

3. Night mode often not functioning if turn it on after booting. Even doesn't turn on after rebooting.

4. Focus assist automatically turn on and notices about "full screen program running" even nothing was opened.

5. (Not a bug) Blury effect when logging into the desktop cannot be turned off or adjustable.


I'm wondering if anyone else have the same issue and hope Microsoft can fix those problems.

If that does not work, upgrade offline using the ISO file, it is more reliable.

One of the biggest issues thats a blocker for new feature updates is lack free space. So, make sure you have enough space to accommodate the update.

I actually don't mind for bugs, I like to test out new windows software and am honored to be an insider.

 

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
