Windows 10: bug with font change in windows

recenty i wanted to changethe defult font in windows to one of the provided by windows in their font selection menu in the settings . but i wasnt abule to do that becase when needed to drag the font i wasnt abule to . i tryed every thing including trying to solve the problem with registry files but it dosnt work. i susspect this problem was caused by the resent windows update and according to youtube this happend to not only me . pleasle help me change my font and solve the problem before it becomes something greater.

I found these steps in this forum from back in 2010:

Step 1:

I would suggest you to try these steps and check whether it helps in fixing your issue.

Open font settings by clicking on start, click on control panel, and then click on appearance and personalization, under fonts click on change font settings. And select the font size.

Step 2:

If you’re trying to change windows font size then please follow the steps below:

To change Windows fonts

1. Open Appearance Settings by clicking the Start button and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type window color, and then click Change window colors and
metrics.

2. In the Item list, click the part of Windows that you want to change the font for. For example, if you want to change the menu font, click Menu in the list. Then, make any of the following changes:

· In the Font list, click the font that you want to use.

· In the Size list, click the font size that you want.

· In the Color list, click the font color that you want.

3. Repeat these steps for each item that you want to make changes to, and then click OK.

Font Bug in Windows 10

Unfortunately, while this may be the answer for those getting an incorrect font instead of Arial, that does not appear to be my issue. First, the letters are being replaced with random characters from other languages, instead of another font (and these same
characters are seen in several other cases I've seen on here, which would suggest it's not due to a bad font, unless we all had the same fonts installed - unlikely). Second, on opening RegEdit and browsing the relevant font listing, I've found no inappropriate
listings. No conflicts with the default Arial font.

Good job on the "using the wrong font" bug, however.
