  1. BUG: with local logins, root/admin sometimes stays logged in

I have multiple systems with Windows 10, all with different hardware. They were updated to 1803, so they have the latest edition. I do not believe root/admin logins should be connected to an email address, so I made them local. I wanted another local login because I will switch between different email addresses during one session. I noticed that sometimes the root/admin account will remain logged in as indicated by the menu at the far right that appears when I sign out. At first I thought it might have been that I clicked on the wrong thing, but I am very careful now and can say with confidence that Windows 10 thinks that the root/admin account is still logged in after I sign out. It happens 1/3 to 1/2 of the time. I consider this a bug that needs to be fixed.

  2. How to login to root account in LMDE ?

    Ok ... fresh start.

Im doing something and well i have to edit a configuration file, which is read-only.

The whole folder is read only.

Plus if you're root it doesn't nag you about "not found" it is in "sbin/blabla", the root just executes even if it's in other folders.

See the point here, i want to use the console, but im left down and can't do anything, how am i supposed to learn if im not allowed to do anything ? That "step by step from babysitting mode up" is a way of learning that in my opinion is quite less effective for me, i wouldn't have figured out as much of the low level stuff.

Missing Local Admin from Login Screen

Hello. I have a very strange thing going on. After upgrading to version 1803 of Windows, the local admin account does not appear on the lock screen. It appears in "Other People" under settings, as the Local Admin, but does not appear in the login screen.
How do I make the Local Admin account reappear on the login screen? Thank you.
