Windows 10: Bug with "screen sketch"

Hello together.


Sry for my bad english, but I'm from germany.


I found a bug in Windows 10 Pro 1903 18362.1082.


Now the bug.

I use the replacement for "Snipping tool". I don't know the english name for it. "screen sketch" maybe?

In german it's called "Ausschneiden und skizzieren".


Normal behaviour:




After some time, the Titlebar and Menubar are overlaying.
I can close the window by click on "X" but moving isn't possible anymore.

Screen flickering while using Snip and Sketch

We understand the concern as you are having a flickering screen while using Snip and sketch on your PC.
In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please reply with the answers to the questions below:

• What is the make and model of the PC?
• Do you see this behavior in any other application?

Meanwhile, let us try few steps.



Step 1: Reset Snip & Sketch app.

1. Press Windows + I key to open Windows
   Settings.
   
2. Click on Apps and select
   Apps & feature from the left pane.
   
3. Scroll and look for the Snip & Sketch
   app.
   
4. Select the app and click on Advanced option.
   
5. Click on Reset and once you see a tick mark, then relaunch and check.
   

Step 2: Update display driver.

We would suggest you to update the display driver from Device Manager. Please refer this article to update the driver:

Let us know the results. If the issue persists, we will certainly assist you further.

Screen being select with Screen Sketch has a transparent thin layer of red over it

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.



We understand that when you take a screen sketch the area has a reddish color over the screen, we will look into this for you.



We suggest you to refer the steps mentioned below and see if that helps:

1. Open then Snipping Tool.
   
2. Click on Options.
   
3. Under Selection, uncheck the box for
   Show selection ink after snips are captured.
   
4. Click on OK.

Screen Sketch app renamed to Snip & Sketch in Windows 10 Insider build

You can choose snip delays from jump lists as well...
