  1. Bugcheck / kernal power Reboots - New Win 11 PC - Need help diagnosing

Hello All,I recently upgraded from an old laptop which was having similar reboot issues.... to a brand new Laptop, and still seem to be having similar albeit less frequent random reboots. Extremely frustrating, so hoping someone can provide assistance. Details Below including minidump file linksOriginal Old Laptop would have random forced reboots, but the root cause was not overheating or ram issues. Thinking the issue was simply the old laptop being long-in-the-tooth, I upgraded to a new one. Dell XPS 15 9520 I also replaced the old docking station with a Dell d3100 docking station, a

  2. PC crashing & rebooting from a bugcheck while idling

Came home from work, booted PC up. Put kettle on.

Came back to PC in boot sequence again, thought nothing of it but continuously doing it now every couple of minutes, managed to get on Event viewer and it's not giving me much. I can see the critical kernal power log then it says:

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000007e (0xffffffffc0000005, 0xfffff805866b5aea, 0xfffff98bb47190c8, 0xfffff98bb47188e0).

I have provided msinfo32 and dmp file that was created 2 Items

    Power Off and reboot

Thank you for your suggestion. I ran a WIN 11 update a few days ago prior to posting my problem online. It didn't help the issue. Question - the WIN 11 upgrade process did not include these steps I see in the link you sent to me. Should that concern me?

    1. Select which media you want to use:

Select ISO file then save the ISO file to your PC specifically on your desktop.
    2. Once done downloading the ISO, kindly right-click on ISO then click Mount> then Click Setup.exe

    System Reboot for Bugcheck 0x00000124

    Hi Guys,

I recently purchased a MSI laptop (GT72VR 6RE), and upgraded Win 10 version from Home to Pro. Performed the upgrade as soon as I fired up the laptop for the first time.

Last couple of weeks, while working on Google Drive (via Chrome) the computer will suddently lock up, and after couple of seconds reboot.

Checking Event Viewer, it shows the following events:

Details for the listed events in sequence:
    • The previous system shutdown at 4:48:27 PM on ‎5/‎09/‎2016 was unexpected.
    • The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.
    • Audit events have been dropped by the transport. 0
    • The driver \Driver\WUDFRd failed to load for the device ACPI\ENE0110\5&14353508&0.
    • A corrected hardware error has occurred.

    • A corrected hardware error has occurred. (same as above)
    • The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x00000124 (0x0000000000000000, 0xffffe0002c0c2028, 0x00000000be000000, 0x0000000000800400).

It has happened twice so far and that has me bit worried.
Previous one had the following bugcheck error:
    • The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000001e (0xffffffffc0000005, 0xfffff800765cd8b8, 0x0000000000000000, 0x00000000000000a0).

Would really appreciate if someone can point out anything.

It is a brand new laptop (couple of weeks old). And both the times when it crashed, I was using Chrome (google drive, or writing email etc), wasn't playing games. The CPU/GPU isn't overclocked either.

    Thanks in advance.
