Let me start with some frustration. Its terrible how nonexistent support is for xbox or win for that matter. This issue persist for years and nobody bothers to fix this, maybe because no devs ever read this, and "feedback hub" in windows is useless as well.I'm running WIN10 2004 build 19041.1348 have virtualbox installed and for some reason, whenever I enable its network adapter in device manager windows nw indicator changes to "no internet" and xbox app just goes bonkers and nothing works...I have no idea why virtualbox adapter is causing this but thats besides the point here, there are

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate/Xbox Live login problem!

Hi.

Yesterday I have bought XGPU, downloaded windows 10 update, Xbox (beta) launcher and Metro Exodus.

Today I am trying to play Metro, it starts buy after a while of the intro Xbox (beta) window pops up and says something like: "we were unable to login you to your Xbox live account".

I can't do anything! The game keeps telling me it can't login over and over again.

Also I cant quit the game - only way is to log out of Windows.

I was able to launch Metro from the start menu, not from the Xbox app. I then chose launch from safe mode from the dialog box that appears and waula - Moscow. Xbox pc Game pass is super finicky. Its possible, good luck. Oh, before that, restart your internet
router through your browser and after it comes back up go into settings/Network & Internet and click Network reset. Restart your pc, give it a moment and then launch the " Metro Exodus app " from the start menu as described above.

Xbox Breaks Black Friday Records; Windows 10 Gaming Continues to Rise

A winning combination of the most critically acclaimed holiday lineup of exclusives in Xbox history,* the New Xbox One Experience complete with Backward Compatibility, and an extensive line-up of console bundles, drove record Xbox One sales in the U.S.** and Xbox Store sales worldwide, with record engagement from Xbox fans around the world*** over Black Friday week.

Xbox fans around the world spent a total of 325 million hours gaming on Xbox Live this past week. Hours spent playing games on Xbox One last week were up 196 percent compared to Black Friday week in 2014, and time spent using Xbox apps increased a whopping 321 percent.***

Worldwide Xbox Black Friday sales in the Xbox Store broke records with an increase of 57 percent across Xbox One and Xbox 360, global Xbox Live Gold subscriptions were up over 40 percent, and U.S. Xbox One console sales at retail were up 22 percent over the same period last year, making it the second biggest Black Friday week in 15 years of Xbox history in the U.S.

Total paid unique users in the Xbox Store also broke records with an increase of 55 percent across Xbox One and Xbox 360 compared to Black Friday week last year, with 88 percent growth on Xbox One alone.

Hardware is hot this holiday – the Xbox One 500GB Gears of War: Ultimate Edition Bundle was the best-selling Xbox console bundle. The Xbox Elite Wireless Controller has been met with high demand and was sold out at most major U.S. retailers since launch and we are working hard with retailers to replenish stock.

Gamers have logged more than 4 million hours playing Xbox 360 games on Xbox One since Backward Compatibility launched on Nov. 12.

We’ve also seen incredible Windows 10 gaming momentum heading into the holidays:

In November, hours spent gaming on Windows 10 exceeded Windows 8 for the first time ever.

Since Windows 10 launched in July, gamers have streamed over 5 million hours of Xbox One game content to Windows 10 PCs with Fallout 4 streamed the most frequently in November.

Last month, nearly 30 percent of all Steam players played on Windows 10; there were six times more gamers playing Steam on Windows 10 than OSX and Linux combined.****

Nearly 20 percent of all non-mobile devices are now running on Windows 10 — roughly double from just 3 month ago.*****

Xbox PC App Error

We appreciate your response and cooperation regarding this matter. Based on your reply, it appears that you need to enable the Xbox services to ensure that the app is up and running. You may follow the steps below to enable Xbox Live services:

Press the Start button and type Services on the search box.

On the list of services, look for Xbox Live Auth Manager,
Xbox Live Game Save, and Xbox Live Networking Service.

The next steps should be done to the three mentioned services above:

Right click on the service and select Properties.

Set the Startup type to Automatic. If the service isn't started, click
Start.

Save the changes.

Launch the Xbox App and sign in to your account again.

Let us know if you are able to sign in after performing the suggested solutions above.
